Information we collect

Location. When you grant location permission, the app uses your device location to center the map and find records near you. Your precise location is processed on your device and in transient API requests; we do not build a profile of your movements or sell location data.

Account information. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple provides and, if you choose to share it, your email. We use this only to maintain your account and subscription status.

Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive transaction records from Apple to confirm your subscription status; we never receive your payment card details.

Diagnostics. We collect limited, aggregated technical data (such as crash reports and error rates) to keep the Service reliable.

How we use information

We use information to operate the Service: to show registry records near a location, to maintain your account and subscription, to respond to support requests, and to improve reliability and accuracy. We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell it.

Offender registry data

Records shown in the Service are public information published by official government sex-offender registries. We are not the source of this information and are not affiliated with any government agency. We do not collect or publish private information about registrants beyond what those public registries make available.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service (such as cloud hosting and Apple for payments), and only as needed to provide it. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention & your choices

You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. You can request deletion of your account and associated data from within the app or by contacting us. We retain information only as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by law.
